Step into a rewarding role supporting young learners as a Special Education professional in a K-1st grade SDC classroom. Based near Napa, CA, this contract opportunity offers you the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of students with moderate needs, working alongside two dedicated paraprofessionals. The assignment begins ASAP and runs through June 4, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications:
- Ability to provide a current screenshot of your CTC clearance
- Experience working with K-1st grade students preferred
- Knowledge of best practices in a self-contained (SDC) classroom setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based instruction in a small group setting
- Work collaboratively with classroom paraprofessionals to maximize student support
- Regularly assess student progress and adapt strategies as needed
- Partner with families, related service providers, and school staff to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
