Job DescriptionWe are looking for an Engineering Supervisor who leads and develops a cross‑functional engineering team within our hotel operations. In this role, you will oversee projects from start to finish, maintain a safe and efficient work environment, and support the Director of Engineering and Chief Engineer as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Guide team members in their roles and follow up with the Chief Engineer/Director of Engineering for performance or corrective actions.
- Demonstrate ENRICH values in all interactions with team members, guests, and vendors.
- Troubleshoot and repair hotel systems including HVAC&R, laundry equipment, kitchen equipment, water and wastewater systems, carpentry, tile, plumbing, painting, and minor automotive repairs.
- Serve as acting Director of Engineering or Chief Engineer in their absence.
- Maintain complete knowledge of the hotel fire, water, sewage, and irrigation systems.
- Respond to all guest requests promptly.
- Respond to emergency or life‑threatening situations.
- Follow established safety procedures.
- Log and communicate all essential information in engineering logs.
The starting range for this position is $36.00 per hour. Pay may vary based on experience and education.
Essential Qualifications- Minimum 3–4 years of experience as an engineer or maintenance technician, preferably in a hotel or property‑management setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school education is desired.
- Ability to operate all hotel systems and associated equipment.
- Familiarity with relevant vendors and ability to identify replacement parts, materials, and required tools.
- Decision‑making authority as directed by the Director of Engineering or Chief Engineer.
- Reading and following technical instructions for mechanical equipment assembly and furniture.
- Effective communication in English with guests, coworkers, and management.
- Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
- Bi‑lingual in Spanish.
- Experience with G‑Suite applications.
- Prior hospitality industry experience.
