Bank of Marin, voted by our employees as one of the "Best Places to Work" in the North Bay Business Journal, is seeking a Credit Analyst to join our Napa Commercial Banking Office in Napa, California.
In a team-oriented environment, maintain a high degree of customer service by supporting loan management, credit approval, and loan documentation with timely and accurate processing of customer financial information, information requests, and other duties as assigned in support of credit management staff.
Requirements- Well-developed computer skills including, at a minimum, Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Basic accounting knowledge (college coursework or equivalent work experience).
- Proficiency in bank loan and deposit accounting systems
- Basic understanding of loan documentation requirements, including notes, business loan agreements, security agreements and title documents.
- Well-developed communication skills, with ability to quickly understand and communicate concepts, both verbally and in written form.
- Working understanding of interrelations of bank structure, including branch system, consumer loan group, construction real estate loan group, cash management, etc.
- Team contributor as evidenced by positive attitude toward assisting others with job responsibilities as needed and treatment of co-workers in a positive and respectful manner. Be able to acknowledge knowledge gaps and ability to receive and act on feedback in a positive manner.
- Present a positive and professional appearance/demeanor to both internal and external contacts including other bank employees, vendors, service providers, etc.
- 2 - 4 years related experience and/or training.
- Educational/Professional
Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The hiring pay range for this position is $31.53 to $42.55. In addition to the pay range listed, all bank positions are eligible for incentive compensation, which varies based on role. The pay rate for a successful applicant depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
