Bilingual in Spanish/English required. We are seeking a Bilingual Support Counselor to join our Wraparound Services team, providing behaviorally focused mental health support to children and families. Serving youth ages 5 to 18, this role is part of a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team dedicated to empowering families through individualized, strengths‑based care.
About WraparoundSeneca offers Wraparound services to children and youth susceptible of placement, and to their families. The Wraparound programs are strengths‑based, family‑driven, flexible, and creative, with the goal of helping the family develop the skills and supports to prevent or reduce the possibility of out‑of‑home placement of their child. A family‑based team addresses the needs of the entire family, not just the child of focus.
This family‑based team consists of family members, Seneca's Therapists, Support Counselors, Family Partners, Facilitators and other community members who have an important role in the family.

Responsibilities- Conduct work with clients, families, and county partners that aligns with the National Wraparound Model
- Provide direct behavioral support services to youth open with Wraparound, depending on the need of the teams
- Provide culturally‑specific services for clients and families, using conceptual frameworks that consider a client and family's cultural location (race, ethnicity, nationality, class, education, gender, sexual orientation, etc.)
- Serve as a consultant for other direct care staff by providing training and/or additional case consultation that aligns with Seneca's unconditional care model and clinical philosophies (i.e. three streams, internal working model, functional behavioral analysis, etc.)
- Complete documentation of mental health notes and other clinical documents in a timely manner
- Participate in an on‑call crisis support line rotation
- Participate in weekly individual and group supervision as required
- Office located in Napa, serving clients and families within a 90‑mile radius
- Education/experience requirements:
- Bachelor's degree OR
- Associate's degree or equivalent + 1 year of applicable experience OR
- High School Diploma/GED + 2 years of applicable experience
- Applicable experience includes any paid or unpaid experience working with youth or families, or working in the social services field
- Bilingual in Spanish/English required
- Driving within the community to meet with clients, attend meetings, or perform job duties at multiple locations within the area
- Be part of a rotating 24‑hour emergency on‑call system, 2 shifts per month
- Availability to participate in two on‑call shifts per month
- Own vehicle, valid California Driver's License and insurance
- Fulfillment of TB test, fingerprinting and any other mandatory state/federal clearance
- Experience providing strong behavioral interventions with youth (preferably within a community based setting)
- Experience working with or living in community with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills as demonstrated by the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Understands own social and cultural location, the systems of oppression within which we operate, and the impact those have on the clients and communities we serve
- Full‑Time
- Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Starting at $26.22 – $28.72 per hour (actual salary depends on experience)
- 5 weeks of flexible paid time off and 11 paid holidays
