DSH‑Napa offers a 25% telework option for full‑time psychologists who meet eligibility requirements on a limited‑term basis. Cut‑off dates are every other Friday starting on Novermber 14, 2025. Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled. Positions will be filled based upon budget approval.

Qualifications andApplication Requirements
- Must pass the Psychologist (HF‑Clinical Safety) exam.
- Must complete the STD 678 Employment Application in its entirety and include “Psychologist (HF Clinical Safety)” – JC‑497454 in the “Job Title(s)” section.
- Duties performed and supervisor’s name and contact information must be completed on the STD 678; incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Resume will not be accepted in lieu of information provided on the STD 678.
- Attach a copy of proof of degree and transcripts.
Founded in 1875, Napa State Hospital is the only state hospital in Northern California for persons struggling with severe mental illness. Classified as a low to moderate security facility, the hospital has a bed capacity to treat up to 1,362 patients on an attractive campus with treatment units located on 138 acres.
