Safe Co is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Operations Supervisor to oversee valet/bellman/shuttle operations at one of our timeshare properties in Napa, CA. As Operations Supervisor, you oversee aspects of valet, bellmen, shuttle, and security services for our hospitality clients—delivering seamless operations, ensuring employee and guest safety, and creating exceptional client experiences. This role is critical in optimizing operational procedures, cultivating a positive team culture and operating as an extension of the manager when applicable.
The ideal candidate is growth-minded, detail-oriented, able to sell services effectively, and has a proven record of success in leading high-volume, valet, and hospitality driven environment(s).
- Supervise daily valet/bell/shuttle staff, ensuring professional, courteous, and efficient service at all times.
- Act as an extension of the manager to provide consistent & reliable representation of Safeco.
- Assign duties to optimize coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
- Reinforce team members on proper vehicle handling, guest service standards, and safety protocols.
- Ensure all operations have flow of traffic at the property entrance to minimize congestion and maintain guest satisfaction.
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping of vehicles, keys, and tickets to prevent loss or mishandling.
- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Operate shuttle in event of emergency.
- Investigate security incidents, accidents, and policy violations, providing detailed reports as needed.
- Must have 3 to 5 years of valet supervisor/management experience
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft 365 products, experience with HRIS and benefits databases.
- Project and team management/leadership skills and experience.
- Must be able to understand hospitality and timeshare business
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
- Capable of effective planning and priority setting.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Must have a valid Drivers License. (Class-B or Class-A)
- Must have a valid (Passenger Endorsement)
- Must be able to work, day, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods.
- Capability to lift to 25 lbs. when necessary.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must obtain a valid (BSIS) guard card within a set number of days of employment
