Position: Information Systems Specialist II/Senior (Network Operations)

Napa County Information Technology Services (ITS) is a branch of the County Executive Office that provides technology services and solutions to all County departments and to five special districts. The Network Operations Team focuses on securing and maintaining the critical IT backbone of the County.

Position Summary

Information Systems Specialist II or Senior Information Systems Specialist (full‑time, hybrid schedule) to work with enterprise networking, routing, switching, virtualization, and firewall management. The role involves ownership of complex troubleshooting, project management, and cross‑training within a team‑oriented environment.

Benefits
  • Pay Range for Information Systems Specialist II: $51.45 – $61.61 per hour (Steps 1–5)
  • Pay Range for Senior Information Systems Specialist: $57.54 – $68.94 per hour (Steps 1–5)
  • 3.5% COLA increase effective 7/01/2026
Position Requirements
  • Experience for Information Systems Specialist II: Two years of programming, systems, or Web design/development experience in a government or business operation.
  • Experience for Senior Information Systems Specialist: Three years of programming and/or systems experience in government or business operation.
  • Education: Equivalent to a college degree with major coursework in data processing, computer science, graphic design, or a closely related field, and minor coursework in business principles. Additional qualifying experience may substitute for education on a year‑for‑year basis.
  • License or Certificate: May require possession of a valid California Driver’s License.

Disaster Service Worker
