Napa Valley Care Center is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team in delivering exceptional care within our skilled nursing facility.

- Oversee all nursing operations within the skilled nursing facility
- Ensure compliance with CDPH, CMS, and federal/state regulations
- Lead and mentor RNs, LVNs, and CNAs
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and clinical excellence
- Monitor staffing, budgeting, and labor management
- Oversee infection control, risk management, and clinical systems
- Partner with the Administrator to maintain operational success
- Ensure high standards of documentation, survey readiness, and resident care outcomes
- Active California RN license (required)
- Minimum 3-5 years of nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
- Prior experience as a Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing preferred
- Strong knowledge of Title 22 regulations, CMS guidelines, and survey process
- Proven ability to lead teams, improve systems, and drive accountability
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Passion for serving the elderly and improving quality of care
