Nurse Manager - Care

Responsibilities

The Nurse Manager of a patient care unit or service maintains 24‑hour accountability for the clinical leadership of staff. Responsible for overall personnel and fiscal management, clinical standards development, staff development, and the continuous improvement of activities within assigned areas. Through collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers and others, reviews, analyzes and recommends changes in practice to work toward achieving Queen of the Valley Medical Center’s goal to become a Center of Excellence.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• California Registered Nurse license upon hire.
• National Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association upon hire.
• Three (3) years of relevant clinical experience.
• Leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
