Registered Nurse - Acute Inpatient Rehab Assignment Duration
This is a 13‑week contract position.
ScheduleDay shift, 5x8 hours (07:00 - 16:00), with weekend requirements every other week.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for an Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation unit. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of nursing experience, including charge experience, and will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with various rehabilitation needs. You will participate in interdisciplinary support, coordinate patient care, and ensure adherence to safety and health protocols.
Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate patient care in the rehab unit.
- Administer medications and perform nursing assessments.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy and social services.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and rehabilitation goals.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with charge experience preferred.
- Valid CA RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted.
- Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
- Previous experience in an Acute Rehabilitation setting is a plus.
