Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Napa, California.
ResponsibilitiesJob Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Specialty position is located in Napa, California. This role involves providing specialized patient care within the post-anesthesia recovery setting, ensuring patient stability and safety following surgical procedures. The position is scheduled for day shifts, with a focus on supporting patients during immediate post-operative recovery.
- Schedule: Day shifts; 8-hour shifts; minimum of 40 hours per week starting from 07/27/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS; valid California license in hand; 2 years of experience in PACU or Post Anesthesia Care Unit; experience with Epic charting system.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience and recent community hospital experience.
- Additional Information: This role may require floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays:
Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. References covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years are required; references may include charge nurses or lead clinicians.
