Role Overview

Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 6 months of nurse practitioner experience; 2 years in emergency or urgent care setting preferred
- Master’s Degree in Nursing with specialization in Family Practice or Acute Care
- Valid Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse licenses in California
- Certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and National Nurse Practitioner Certification
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) required
Key Duties
- Perform age-appropriate assessments and examinations
- Consult with supervising clinicians based on assessment findings
- Coordinate care with healthcare team members and ensure documentation accuracy
- Participate in quality improvement, safety protocols, and staff development
- Adhere to legal, ethical, and institutional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality
- Apply clinical knowledge and demonstrate accountability in practice
Additional Requirements
- Meet credentialing requirements and obtain PTAN within 30 days of hire
