As an RN, you will play a vital leadership role in overseeing nursing operations, delivering high-quality resident care, supporting clinical staff, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.

Employee recognition programs RN Responsibilities Clinical & Resident Care Provide direct nursing care and clinical oversight to residents.

Assess resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.

Monitor resident progress and ensure individualized care plans are followed.

Perform admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Start IVs and obtain specimens as ordered.

Participate in care planning, assessments, and discharge planning.

Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in resident condition.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Leadership & Supervision Supervise and support Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs/LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).Ensure adequate staffing and assignment coverage during the shift.

Conduct rounds and monitor quality of care provided by nursing staff.

Assist with staff training, coaching, and orientation.

Promote a positive team culture focused on resident-centered care.

Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary departments to maintain quality outcomes.

Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.

Support infection prevention and safety initiatives.

Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs.

Maintain resident confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Complete incident reports and follow-up documentation as needed.

Assist during regulatory surveys and audits.

Qualifications Required Active , unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) License Current CPR/BLS Certification Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Preferred

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Post-Acute Care, Rehabilitation, or Long-Term Care setting

Training or experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing

Experience with PCC (Point Click Care ) electronic health records
