QUALITY CONTROL
Location: Onsite - Napa, California
Hourly Rate: $18-20 per hour (Based on Experience).
Employment Type: Full-time, On-Site, Rotating Shifts, Weekends occasionally

Position Summary: Quality Control is responsible for ensuring that all printed products meet our high standards of quality and compliance with customer specifications. You will play a vital role in monitoring the production process, performing inspections, and conducting tests on finished labels to identify any defects or issues.
As a Quality Control, your keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence will help uphold our reputation for delivering high-quality labels. You will collaborate closely with production teams to implement quality assurance measures and continuously improve processes, ensuring that we meet and exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities- Inspect finished labels for quality, accuracy, and compliance with customer specifications.
- Perform in-process quality checks throughout the production process, identifying and addressing defects as they occur.
- Reject finished products, as necessary.
- Quarantine nonconforming products and advise Quality and Production Manager for disposition.
- Conduct tests on materials and printed products, documenting findings and generating inspection reports.
- Document and control quality findings and data in electronic records.
- Participate in the SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) inspection function.
- Collaborate with production staff to communicate quality issues and assist in troubleshooting.
- Work with Quality Assurance to provide feedback to other departments.
- Assist Quality and Production Managers to investigate customer complaints.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality assurance activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.
- Participate in training sessions for production staff on quality control practices and standards.
- Stay informed about industry standards and best practices related to quality control in the printing industry.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Observe company work rules and safety regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must have the ability to distinguish and differentiate between colors for printing labels.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of three years of experience in the printing industry is preferred.
- Previous experience in a quality control role is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to identify defects and inconsistencies in printed materials.
