Our restaurant ALBA Bar & Cafe is open daily for breakfast, and small bites in the evening at the Bar. We also have (3) private rooms for banquets & catered events.

Come work and be part of the Alba / RTI (River Terrace Inn) team. Our Napa River waterfront location includes 114 rooms, a fitness center and home to the ALBA Restaurant. The RTI is located within walking distance of restaurants, the Culinary Institute of America, Oxbow Public Market, the Napa Valley Wine Train and many other fun filled attractions.

River Terrace Inn

The Bartender/Barista involves preparing and serving beverages while providing friendly, efficient customer service. Duties include taking orders, making coffee drinks, cocktails, and other beverages according to recipes, handling payments, and keeping the bar or coffee station clean and organized. Throughout the shift, the role focuses on maintaining product quality, restocking ingredients and supplies, and engaging with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere.

At the end of the day, responsibilities include cleaning equipment, closing out the register, restocking, and preparing the station for the next shift.

The Bartender/Barista include strong customer service and communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail when preparing drinks. Basic knowledge of coffee, cocktails, and beverage preparation is important, along with responsible alcohol service where applicable. The role also requires a positive attitude, reliability, teamwork, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior experience is preferred but not always required.
