Our restaurant ALBA Bar & Cafe is open daily for breakfast, and small bites in the evening at the Bar. We also have (3) private rooms for banquets & catered events.

A day in the life...

The Prep Cook/Dishwasher involves supporting the kitchen by preparing ingredients and keeping the workspace clean and organized. Duties include washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assisting cooks with basic food preparation tasks. Throughout the shift, the role also focuses on washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, maintaining sanitation standards, and keeping dish and prep areas clean. At the end of the day, responsibilities include deep cleaning stations, taking out trash, and restocking supplies to prepare the kitchen for the next service.

The Prep Cook/Dishwasher includes the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, strong attention to cleanliness and food safety, and a reliable, team-oriented attitude. The role requires physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks. Basic knife skills, willingness to learn, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays are also important. Prior kitchen experience is helpful but not always required.

SALARY DESCRIPTION

$20.00 per hour
