Second Shift Store Manager
Location: Napa, CA
Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
Employment Type: Full-Time

The Second Shift Store Manager is responsible for overseeing store operations during afternoon and evening hours, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and team leadership. This role plays a critical part in maintaining store standards, managing staff, and supporting sales performance while serving as the senior leader on duty during second shift.

• Lead and manage daily store operations during the 2nd shift
• Supervise, coach, and support team members to ensure strong performance and engagement
• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns promptly
• Oversee cash handling, register accuracy, and shift reconciliation
• Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising standards, and food safety compliance
• Manage inventory levels, stocking, and product rotation
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with upper management regarding shift performance, issues, and staffing needs
• Step in to cover staffing gaps and support overtime needs as required
• Ensure smooth shift handoff and operational continuity

• Previous retail, convenience store, or grocery management experience preferred
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Comfortable working second shift hours, weekends, and holidays
• Basic computer and POS system proficiency
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs as needed
