Chestertown Truck & auto Supplies (NAPA) is seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working Counter Sales Representative to join our rapidly growing team of Auto Parts professionals for their Chestertown Location. The Counter Sales Representative is the ideal position for knowledgeable and energetic people who have a passion for automotive parts and believe in taking care of the customer and the power of teamwork.

As a Counter Sales Representative, you will primarily be focused on helping customers with their auto parts questions, do-it-yourself projects and auto parts needs.

• Bringing customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced stores
• Helping other team members when working with customers or finding auto parts
• Operating a cash register and navigating computer and paper catalog systems
• Assist both retail and wholesale customers with their auto parts questions and needs
• Handle cash, credit cards, and other purchasing transactions
• Operate the store point of sale system to search for parts and customer accounts
• Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick up or delivery
• Operate the electronic and paper cataloging system to retrieve up to date parts information
• Effectively communicate features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers
• Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance always
• Promote the entire line of NAPA products and programs to wholesale customers
• Drive Growth of Company-owned NAPA Auto Parts stores, customer base, sales, and profits
• Working towards continuous improvement with our in-store processes and procedures

• Valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 18 Years of age
• Experience in Automotive parts sales (Preferred)
• Motivated to train and learn
• Ability to thrive and have fun in a busy, fast-paced retail environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer focus and high energy in our fast-paced stores
