Job Title:
Sales Associate
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in retail to deliver guest experiences that reflect the kate spade new york aesthetic and standards.
Responsibilities- Hosting:
Give our guests the warmest welcome, always exuding confidence and proper etiquette. - Develop long-term relationships with guests by asking thoughtful questions and engaging with them in meaningful ways.
- Team Building:
Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team; receive and give feedback honestly and genuinely; celebrate fellow team members’ successes. - Styling & Curating:
Communicate the kate spade new york aesthetic; tell stories using product knowledge to connect with guests; lead with personal style and perspective; spot and discuss products. - Operational Excellence:
Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and shop; multitask across operational tasks, store cleanliness, and POS transactions. - Business Acumen:
Understand the product landscape across all merchandise categories; contribute ideas and feedback to the team.
The accomplished individual will possess:
- Professional selling skills and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Prior luxury goods experience preferred
- Proactive ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Works well in a team environment
An outstanding professional will have:
- College degree preferred
- Available to work store schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Standing for extended periods
- Able to safely lift boxes up to 40 pounds
- Comfortable climbing ladders
