Are you the person friends and family call when they need help with a plumbing repair or electrical project? Do you enjoy helping customers solve problems and making sure a team runs smoothly? If so, we’d love to have you join our team.
The Lead – Plumbing / Electrical serves as the department expert and plays a key role in driving sales, supporting customers, and leading associates within the store. This position is ideal for someone with hands‑on Plumbing or Electrical experience who enjoys customer interaction, mentoring others, and keeping operations running efficiently.
Retail experience is preferred, but if you have strong trade knowledge and a great attitude, we’re willing to train the right person.
What You’ll Do- Help customers confidently complete Plumbing and/or Electrical projects
- Recommend products, troubleshoot issues, and provide project solutions
- Lead and support department associates to deliver excellent customer service
- Keep the department stocked, organized, clean, and easy to shop
- Maintain inventory accuracy through ordering, stocking, and cycle counts
- Build attractive displays and help drive department sales
- Train team members on products, selling skills, and safety practices
- Stay current on products, trends, and seasonal opportunities
- Assist with overall store operations and leadership responsibilities as needed
- Promote a safe, positive, and team‑focused work environment
- Plumbing or Electrical experience/knowledge required
- Retail experience preferred, but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Leadership mindset with the ability to motivate and support others
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment
- Dependable, self‑motivated, and solution‑oriented
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Climb ladders and stock overhead merchandise
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout the workday
