About the roleWe are recruiting for a Full Time Tasting Room Associate at Beaulieu Vineyard with a background in customer service who enjoys fostering a wonderful guest experience. You will be the main point of contact for guests, so a polite, friendly and energetic demeanor is essential.
Responsibilities- Set up and host wine tastings and tours for guests
- Sell wine, merchandise and wine clubs to meet or exceed monthly sales targets
- Collaborate with co-workers to provide a superior guest experience
- Provide service and hospitality that exceeds competitors and guest expectations
- Stay current on Beaulieu Vineyard wines and customer offerings
- Be engaged in the local wine industry community and know the market
- Be informed on local hospitality offerings and make recommendations to guests
- Participate in TWE training programs
- Strive for WISE triple score sales and service results
- Open, close and operate cash registers
- Assist in events, private dinners and site activities
- Assist Wine Inventory and Merchandise with restocking, inventory and floor upkeep
- Follow site policies and procedures including opening/closing and inventory control
- Act as a backup for other Hospitality Sales Associates conducting tastings and tours
- Must be 21 years of age
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Passionate about wine
- Sales and conversion via hospitality and knowledge
- Strong presentation skills to relay knowledge of wines and wine production
- Dynamic communication skills and positive attitude
- Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to start a project and carry through to successful implementation
- Knowledge of food and wine, the wine industry, and regional dining
- Ability to work weekends (Friday–Sunday), some holidays and evenings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (a case of wine)

Base pay:
Hourly rate ranges from $22 to $24 per hour, based on experience and role scope. Incentive pay:
Eligible to participate in the Direct-to-Consumer Sales Incentive Plan (DSIP). Estimated on-target earnings: $24.33 to $26.97 per hour where applicable. Tips:
Tips are paid by customers and vary by location and shift; tips are not guaranteed.
