Pump Technician Assistant - Oakville Pump Service

• Pump pulls and pump installations
• Shop testing and repair of submersible and centrifugal pumps
• Plumbing
• Light welding and fabrication
• Trenching
• Shop maintenance
• Cleaning and restocking company service trucks
• Working with various aspects of Inventory

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license w/ clean driving record & 5 years licensed driving experience.
• Certification and experience with/in forklift operation a plus. Must be able to obtain OSHA required Forklift Certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Experience in the construction industry a plus.
• Must be able to work periodic overtime if needed.
• Working knowledge of tools, supplies, and equipment used in the construction trade a plus.
• Basic computer skills are required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word & Excel a plus.
• Must have working knowledge of a smart phone

• The team member normally works in outside weather conditions. Team member will be in all year round weather conditions while traveling to and from job sites.
  
  Occasionally the team member will work inside our shop.

• This position requires a significant amount of training, both in-house and periodically by others off-site. Oakville Pump Service will provide this as necessary.
