Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT)

  • Starting Salary: $78,287 - $113,480 annually (including 20% geo modifier)
  • IA Stipend: $2,080
  • Sign-On Bonus: $12,500

Reach Air Medical Services is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to oversee the overall maintenance and safety of our EC135 fleet. The AMT will support timely, high-quality transportation services and provide exceptional care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance services, including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs; provide regular status updates to the Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory checks to ensure adequate supplies and equipment; update equipment tracking log and place replacement requests.
  • Document service paperwork and FAA information; comply with company policies, procedures, and information security standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Facilitate coordination between departments, vendors, and team members using appropriate communication methods.
  • Collaborate professionally with all allied health, public safety personnel, and internal team members.
Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • Three (3) years turbine-powered helicopter experience.
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
  • Experience with EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, and maintenance support and planning.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
  • Compliance with FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Ability to push/pull 100+ lbs and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • EC135 maintenance experience.
  • FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate.
  • Experience under CFR Parts 91, 135, and 145.
  • Autopilot maintenance experience.
  • Avionics and electrical repair experience.
