Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT)
- Starting Salary: $78,287 - $113,480 annually (including 20% geo modifier)
- IA Stipend: $2,080
- Sign-On Bonus: $12,500
Reach Air Medical Services is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to oversee the overall maintenance and safety of our EC135 fleet. The AMT will support timely, high-quality transportation services and provide exceptional care and customer service to patients.
Responsibilities- Perform maintenance services, including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs; provide regular status updates to the Lead Technician.
- Manage inventory checks to ensure adequate supplies and equipment; update equipment tracking log and place replacement requests.
- Document service paperwork and FAA information; comply with company policies, procedures, and information security standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the maintenance team and flight crew.
- Facilitate coordination between departments, vendors, and team members using appropriate communication methods.
- Collaborate professionally with all allied health, public safety personnel, and internal team members.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years turbine-powered helicopter experience.
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
- Experience with EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, and maintenance support and planning.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
- Compliance with FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
- Ability to push/pull 100+ lbs and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- EC135 maintenance experience.
- FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate.
- Experience under CFR Parts 91, 135, and 145.
- Autopilot maintenance experience.
- Avionics and electrical repair experience.
