Staff Accountant

Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its growing accounting team. This is a high-visibility role supporting core accounting operations, financial reporting, and cross-functional initiatives while working closely with senior finance leadership.

• Assist with monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Support external audit processes through documentation preparation and request management
• Partner with operations and client teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Maintain and support internal controls, accounting policies, and procedural improvements
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis for leadership
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data across reporting processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA track preferred)
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in financial services, public accounting, or a similar environment
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP or accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams
