Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English (ESL) Language Teacher to provide in-person, customized lessons to our client in Naperville.

Job Information:

The student is a 7-year-old child

* Location:

Lessons are to be held at the student's home in Naperville, Illinois, 60564 (Near: AMC Naperville 16)

* Availability:
Weekdays after 4:30 p.m.

* Lesson frequency:
Two or three times per week

* Lesson duration: 60 minutes per session

* Current English level:
Novice high

* Native language:
Portuguese

* Student's language needs and goals:
Cultural adaptation, daily communication

* Additional information:
He goes to an American school and speaks a bit of English

Responsibilities:

* Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons

* Developing curricula based on learners' proficiency level and desired outcomes

* Monitoring students' progress and guiding learners toward learning goals

* Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

* Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in English

* Degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field

* Minimum of two years of teaching experience

* Experience teaching children
