Summer Exploration Program Sel Specialist
The Summer Exploration Program SEL Specialist shall facilitate an educational program that teaches students social emotional competencies as well as consult with teachers, other staff and families to design appropriate student support plans. The Summer Exploration Program SEL Specialist reports directly to the Community Schools Program Director.
Qualifications:
- Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator Licensure appropriate to assignment, including an endorsement in school social work, school psychology, or school counseling.
Terms of Employment:
This is a temporary and seasonal position consisting of five weeks of employment, plus training as outlined below and paid an hourly rate of $40.00.
Hours:
Work hours are 8:00 a.m.
- 4:00 p.m., including a 30 minute unpaid lunch (7.5 paid hours per day).

June 10 (9:00AM-12:00PM) - Session 1:
June 15, 16, 17, 18 - Session 2:
June 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 - Session 3:
July 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 - Session 4:
July 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 - Jumpstart for Grades K, 3, 6 only:
August 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
