As a Commercial Operations Lead
- Utility you are responsible for managing a key client relationship and ensuring the successful delivery of QE Solar’s operations and maintenance services for utility-scale solar facilities. The Commercial Operations Lead
- Utility serves as the primary point of contact for the assigned client and coordinates cross‑functional operational activities to meet or exceed all contractual and performance obligations. Success in this role requires strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, along with a thorough understanding of solar operations, compliance requirements, and financial processes.
Travel Requirements: Approximately once per quarter, or as needed for site visits.
Location: This position requires candidates to be located within the Eastern Time Zone. Preferred locations include the greater Springfield, New Jersey;
Atlanta, Georgia; and Raleigh, North Carolina areas. Applicants residing in New Jersey will be expected to work on‑site at our headquarters in Springfield as required.

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
Experience Required5+ years of experience in client or account management within the utility energy industry. Experience in solar operations, NERC compliance, or energy services project management.
Specialized or Technical Knowledge- Familiarity with renewable energy systems, power generation operations, NERC compliance, and performance analytics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and communication tools.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a client‑first mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable working across departments and coordinating large, distributed teams.
- Strong organizational and follow‑up skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally and adapt to client and operational needs.
- Curiosity, candor, and transparency.
