The team you'll be part of
Nokia Technologies is licensing Nokia intellectual property, including patents, technologies, and the Nokia brand, building on Nokia's continued innovation and decades of R&D leadership in technologies deployed in virtually all connected devices used today. Come join us and make an impact! You will be part of a radio standards team managing Nokia global competitive standard essential patent portfolio in LTE/5G-/6G. You will work closely with inventors, technical experts and 3
GPP standards delegates to identify and protect high value inventions reading on 5G/6G technologies and developing your skills to manage all phases of patent prosecution depending on current skills, personal interest & work background.
What you will learn and contribute to

As part of our team, you will:
- review invention disclosure submissions to make first filing decisions
- work with external associates for preparing and filing patent applications
- evaluate patent applications to make foreign filing decisions
- manage claim charting to 5G-/6G
Your skills and experience
You have:
- strong R&D background and experience in 3
GPP related cellular technologies. - Bachelor's degree or graduate degree (in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or another closely related technology area relevant to Nokia's business concerns)
- strong technological background and familiarity with cellular communication standards essential technologies such as LTE and 5G
- ability to work proactively, multi-task and meet aggressive IP timelines
- excellent teamwork and written and oral communication skills
- an aptitude for continuous learning new and complex technology
- at least 5 years of experience in a cellular standards R&D environment.

Additional Information
- United States Salary Range: annual base salary of 106, USD plus eligibility for incentive/variable pay.
