Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add an Automation Engineer to their Naperville team! Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design, installation, commissioning and testing process, and instrumentation & control systems (SCADA). Collaborate with internal departments including information technology, engineering, and operations. Provide project management, manage teams, and ensure quality control during all phases of project. Provide instrumentation & control design services for water/wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and related facilities. Onsite work for municipal clients (instrumentation configuration, installation assistance, and control system and process start-up/testing.

On-call 24/7 (rotate weekly) to troubleshoot instrumentation/control issues.

Requirements: B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. 5+ years of experience as an Electrical/Controls Engineer performing design, programming, installation and startup tasks. Programming experience using PLCs, SCADA, and OITs software. Experience using various products (Concentric Integration primarily include Allen-Bradley SLC, Micro Logix, Compact Logix, Control Logix, Panel View, Rockwell Factory Talk View, GE iFIX, Inductive Automation Ignition, Wonderware System Platform, InTouch, and other hardware/software).

Advanced computer skills. Auto CAD/Visio experience preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience. Successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
