Tax Associate

As a Tax Associate at Intuit, you'll support Turbo Tax customers by delivering accurate, timely virtual tax help. You will review financial documents, prepare and check individual returns, and guide users through Turbo Tax while explaining credits, deductions, and IRS/state requirements in clear language. You'll research complex tax questions, ensure full compliance with current regulations, and document each interaction. Working within Intuit's collaborative, data-driven culture, you'll help millions of customers file confidently while developing your tax expertise and growing your career.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized tax preparation and filing support to Turbo
• Tax customers via virtual consultations and chat.
• Review and analyze customer financial documents to ensure accurate income, deduction, and credit reporting.
• Guide customers through Turbo
• Tax products, explaining tax concepts in clear, simple language.
• Research federal and state tax laws to resolve complex tax questions and edge cases.
• Ensure returns comply with IRS and state regulations, escalating issues when needed.
• Document customer interactions and maintain accurate case notes in Intuit systems.
• Collaborate with peers and tax experts to share best practices and improve workflows.
• Protect customer data and maintain strict confidentiality and security standards.

Required Skills

• Individual tax preparation (Form 1040 and schedules)
