Data Science - Operations Research & Optimization Expertise
Senior Data Scientist / Optimization Specialist
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months with possible extension
Contract Type: W2 Only
Requirements- Experience: 7–10 years in advanced analytics, with at least 3–5 years focused on OR and optimization in marketing or retail contexts.
- Operations Research & Optimization Expertise: Strong foundation in mathematical programming (linear, nonlinear, integer) and experience with stochastic modeling.
- Marketing Mix Modeling: Proven experience building and validating MMM for retail or consumer-facing businesses.
- Advanced Analytics & Programming: Proficiency in Python or R, with hands‑on experience using optimization libraries such as Pyomo, Gurobi, or CPLEX.
- Statistical & Machine Learning Knowledge: Expertise in regression, time‑series analysis, and causal inference.
- Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with retail marketing strategies, pricing, and promotional planning.
- Tools & Platforms: Experience with cloud‑based analytics platforms (e.g., Azure ML, Databricks) and visualization tools.
