We’re looking for someone fluent in Layer 1 ecosystems, validators, staking models, slashing, testnet/mainnet launch strategy, grants, co‑marketing, and on‑chain BD.

We’re seeking a Business Development Manager (Layer 1 Focus) to join our Core BD team. You’ll be responsible for growing and deepening relationships with:

• Layer 1s and Layer 2s
• Protocol foundations
• Infrastructure projects
• Validator networks
• Developer ecosystems

This is a high‑ownership, high‑context role. This is more than a sales role – you’ll play a key part in strategically aligning Chain

GPT’s L1 with other blockchains, emerging protocols, and ecosystem organizations.

• Lead strategic outreach and deal flow with Layer 1/Layer 2 chains, infrastructure protocols, and on‑chain tools
• Represent Chain
  
  GPT in cross‑chain alliance discussions, grants programs, validator partnerships, and co‑GTM efforts
• Support BD engagements end‑to‑end, from initial discussions to formal agreements and successful onboarding
• Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Labs, Marketing) to design developer campaigns, support co‑marketing initiatives, and foster ecosystem engagement
• Plug Chain
  
  GPT into rollups, appchains, modular chains, alt‑VMs, and early‑stage L1s that want AI infra from day 1
• Monitor emerging opportunities across ecosystems such as Cosmos, Polygon, Avalanche, Berachain, Solana, Base, and Scroll, ensuring Chain
  
  GPT engages early with new developments

• 2+ years of BD or partnerships experience at a Layer 1/Layer 2/rollup/core blockchain project
• Deep understanding of blockchain architecture, validator economics, ecosystem funding models, and the ability to navigate complex deals independently
• Clear, concise communication skills; comfortable on a call with a foundation lead as with pitching a founder at a conference
• An established network of relationships within the L1/L2 ecosystem is a strong advantage
• Bonus: experience with AI tools, white‑label infra, or protocol‑level integrations
• Proven track record of partnerships that led to successfully delivered products or initiatives
