Service Technician

Overview

Service Technician at TLC Management Co – The Iroquois Club. We are looking for an experienced Service Technician with residential property maintenance knowledge. This role has overall responsibility for maintaining our apartment homes, common areas and grounds with a focus on efficiency, safety and asset protection. This individual will assist the Service Manager with managing expenses within the allotted budget, preventative maintenance, energy conservation, and ensuring that residents receive superior service.

• Maintain apartment homes, common areas and grounds with attention to safety and efficiency.
• Assist the Service Manager with managing expenses within the budget and with preventative maintenance planning.
• Support energy conservation efforts and uphold quality service standards for residents.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed and coordinate with property management when required.
• Provide high‑quality customer service and preserve a positive image of the company.

• At least 3 years of prior maintenance experience in a fast-paced residential community.
• Experience in painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Proactive approach, strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Knowledge of safe and proper use of common tools, cleaning products and supplies.
• Ability to navigate stairs and ladders, lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, and reach overhead and below.
• Flexibility to work mandatory overtime periods and assist at other residential communities when needed.
• Availability to respond to after-hours emergency calls 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to work on Saturdays.
• Foster harmony in the workplace and promote a positive image of the company.
• Any other tasks as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager.

• Pay: $23/hr - $25/hr, pay commensurate with experience.
