SUMMARYThe Consumables Quality Manager will be responsible for the robust quality control and assurance program for all Pax consumable product lines. This role will support ongoing operations and product manufacturing by enforcing Pax quality standards with co‑manufacturing partners, as well as working closely with leadership to continuously improve operations. The role will be responsible for creation and management of all operational documentation.
This role will be remote, preference for EST, with routine travel to CA, CO, MA, NY, and NJ.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage QA/QC program for Pax consumable product lines across 5+ states with 10+ production partners
- Responsible for all document control, technical writing, and development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, Batch Records, and any other operational documentation within Quality Management System
- Work closely with IT team to maintain and improve Quality Management System
- Train and develop partner Pax operators using SOPs, MBRs, and supporting documents for all new products and processes
- Continuously monitor partner operational adherence to written procedures
- Identify all potential, serious, or chronic problems affecting product quality or compliance
- Perform RCA and CAPA for any non‑conformance events, and manage the implementation of investigation findings
- Provide routine status updates and relevant information and priorities to the leadership and operations team
- Undergraduate Degree
- QMS experience preferred
- Previous experience designing, implementing, and maintaining QA/QC program
- Cannabis experience preferred; familiarity with CPG a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail
- Results driven, task oriented
- Comfort with, and ability to operate at an aggressive, accelerated, iterative pace in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication, project and time management, writing and presentation skills with the ability to confidently interact with senior management
In addition to the benefits above, this role has a pay range between $85,000 and $120,000 plus equity. This pay range represents what we believe, in good faith, this role will pay. The final pay will depend on many factors, including years and depth of experience, level, and location of the employee. We only expect to pay the top of the range in rare and exceptional circumstances, for candidates that far exceed the requirements and expectations of the position.
