Lab Technician
The Lab Technician is responsible for conducting hands-on laboratory analysis on the bench. This role involves completing all applicable laboratory reports and staying up-to-date with the latest laboratory analysis methods. The Lab Technician will assist with maintaining and calibrating equipment, adhere to all laboratory safety and reporting techniques, and follow internal standards, policies, and procedures. Additionally, the role includes preparing chemical solutions according to standard formulas and performing other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct hands-on laboratory analysis.
- Complete all laboratory reports accurately and promptly.
- Stay current with laboratory analysis methods.
- Assist with the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Adhere to all laboratory safety and reporting techniques.
- Follow internal standards, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare chemical solutions according to standard formulas.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Essential
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related science fields.
- Proficiency in chemistry, laboratory techniques, quality control, and quality assurance.

Qualifications:
- Good organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to work in a routine repetitive fast-paced work environment.
- Capability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to interpret various instructions, whether oral, written, diagrammed, electronic, or scheduled.
- Acts with ethics and integrity.
- Ability to work with chemicals, petrochemicals, and petroleum products.
Work Environment:
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, on the 2nd shift from 2:30 to 11:00 PM. The Lab Technician will work as part of a team consisting of 4-5 lab technicians in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Naperville, IL.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
