As a Sales Guide, you'll be the heartbeat of our outdoor gear/apparel departments, delivering world-class service with a smile. You'll be the face of the L.L.Bean brand, engaging customers, keeping our store in tip-top shape, and fostering a spirit of teamwork. Your role will be ever-changing and exciting, adapting to the needs of the day while showcasing your product knowledge and service expertise.

Physical demands include standing, walking, talking, hearing, ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps, repetitive motions, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, lifting, and occasionally moving and lifting objects up to 40 pounds.

Skills and qualifications include a passion for providing world-class customer service, a friendly and outgoing communication style, proficiency with computer systems, adaptability, availability to work varied hours, and a genuine passion for the outdoors and participation in outdoor activities.

L.L.Bean uses a market-based compensation approach. The anticipated starting base pay for this position is $16.00. Individual compensation may vary based on factors such as a candidate's experience, qualifications, education, geographic location, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
