As an Industrial Regional Sales Manager – United Kingdom, Ireland, and Nordics, you will build and manage the industrial business within the assigned territory and establish long‑term relationships with key customers through regular visits. You will be responsible for achieving yearly booking targets for industrial business, including OE, parts, and service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Identify the top potential industrial customers in the territory of responsibility and define a plan for each customer, including specific sales targets, visits/contacts targets, and product sales.
  • Call on top industrial customers regularly to grow the business in all market segments and develop and maintain long‑term relationships with those accounts.
  • Proactively follow up opportunities, detail scope requirements, and ensure existing orders meet customer needs while addressing warranty issues satisfactorily.
  • Maintain active communications and relationships with in‑house stakeholders, utilizing all available team support to provide viable customer solutions.
  • Provide new pump opportunities to Inside Sales for quoting and specifications; deliver and follow up on quotations to industrial accounts and distributors.
  • Negotiate orders, including all technical, commercial, and legal terms and conditions to the mutual satisfaction of all parties.
  • Travel regularly to customer locations to ensure close and regular face‑to‑face contact per company guidelines, with up to 75% travel.
  • Entertain customers during and outside normal business hours on a regular basis.
  • Participate in Team Selling efforts by passing on sales opportunities or leads generated during daily activities into CRM and to other Ruhrpumpen sales channels as defined by commission policy and guidelines.
  • Maintain all company tools, including Sugar

    CRM, in good working order; report and provide feedback to management on market, customer developments, competition, and business opportunities.
  • Participate in promotional activities such as mailings and exhibitions.
  • Achieve yearly booking targets.
Qualifications &

Required Competencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent field.
  • Five or more years of experience in the pump industry in sales or internal sales positions.
  • Ideally, experience selling pumps into the general industry market, including Process Contractors.
  • Availability and willingness to travel to customer locations up to 75% of the time.
  • Ability to develop and execute individual business plans.

The position will be filled in the UK to cover the UK, Ireland, and Nordics.
