Outbound Warehouse Manager

US Foods is seeking an Outbound Warehouse Manager to lead outbound operations in our high-volume wholesale food service distribution center. In this role, you will oversee order selection, loading, staging, and shipping to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries for restaurant, healthcare, and hospitality customers. You will manage a performance-driven team, enforce rigorous safety and food safety standards, and track KPIs for productivity, accuracy, and cost.

Partnering closely with transportation and inventory teams, you will drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment aligned with US Foods' culture of integrity, accountability, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead outbound warehouse operations for a high-volume food service distribution center
• Plan and manage order selection, loading, staging, and shipping to meet delivery schedules and service goals
• Ensure team adherence to safety, food safety, and compliance standards
• Oversee labor planning, productivity targets, and KPI performance
• Coach, schedule, and develop warehouse associates and frontline leaders
• Collaborate with transportation, inventory, and inbound teams to optimize workflow
• Drive continuous improvement in accuracy, efficiency, and cost control
• Use WMS and related systems to monitor orders, inventory movements, and dock activity
• Resolve operational issues, customer service concerns, and carrier exceptions
• Support implementation of company initiatives and standard operating procedures
