Director Night Warehouse

US Foods is seeking a Director of Night Warehouse to lead overnight distribution operations in our wholesale food service environment. You will oversee all night warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, loading, and shipping to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries. Responsibilities include managing and developing supervisors and associates, driving safety programs, optimizing labor and workflow, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring inventory integrity. You'll partner with transportation, supply chain, and sales, uphold food safety and compliance, and champion our performance-driven, customer-focused culture while continuously improving efficiency and service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all night warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, loading, and shipping
• Ensure safe operation of the warehouse, enforcing OSHA, company, and food safety standards
• Manage, coach, and develop supervisors and warehouse associates, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Plan labor and scheduling to meet volume, service, and cost targets for night operations
• Monitor KPIs (accuracy, productivity, on-time loading, damages) and implement corrective actions
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper processes, controls, and cycle count practices
• Collaborate with transportation, supply chain, and sales to meet customer service goals
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Oversee use and optimization of Warehouse Management Systems and related technology
• Manage departmental budget and support corporate initiatives and audits
