Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Naples, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and manage month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all entries are up-to-date and accurate.

- Create and review journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

- Reconcile accounts and ensure all discrepancies are promptly resolved.

- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify transaction accuracy and maintain financial integrity.

- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

- Assist in audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.

- Develop and maintain accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Monitor financial activities to ensure alignment with company policies and regulations.

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accounting processes. Requirements

- Proven experience in accounting, specifically in month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance.

- Strong knowledge of journal entries, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation procedures.

- Proficiency in accounting software and tools.

- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.

- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and other departments.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
