We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Detail Technician to support our collision repair operations. This role is responsible for pre‑cleaning vehicles for repair planning and performing final detailing prior to customer delivery. The Detail Technician plays a key role in ensuring vehicles are presentation‑ready, repairs meet quality standards, and delivery timelines are met.
You will work closely with the paint and body departments to maintain smooth vehicle flow and deliver a high‑quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Pre‑wash vehicles and perform final cleaning prior to customer delivery
- Review repair orders (R/O) to verify all repairs are completed to quality standards
- Notify the Production Manager of discrepancies or additional damage not listed on the R/O
- Execute assigned tasks on repair orders and quality control (QC) forms
- Complete and sign QC checklists before vehicles move to final delivery
- Detail vehicles to eliminate any visible signs of repair or collision damage
- Polish vehicles as required
- Use detailing products and equipment according to manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Manage work assignments to meet productivity targets set by the Production Manager
- Support shop maintenance tasks as needed
- Identify opportunities to provide feedback that may reduce rework or repair costs
- Maintain a positive, team‑oriented attitude when working with managers and coworkers
- Perform other related duties as assigned

- High school or college automotive body repair diploma preferred
- 1–3 years of professional vehicle detailing experience (collision repair experience preferred)
- Valid driver’s license

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Professional, tactful, and customer‑oriented demeanor
Physical Requirements
- Regular use of hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Exposure to heat, humidity, dust, noise, and shop hazards
- Requires stamina, coordination, and manual dexterity
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects throughout the workday
- Work performed both indoors and outdoors
