Position: Sales & Contract Manager (m/w/d) Skandinavien

Job Title

In this role, you will take full responsibility for the commercial development of important customer relationships as well as the end-to-end management of customer contracts in the rail and maintenance business for the Scandinavian region.

Your Tasks
  • You will act as the main contact for all customer inquiries in Scandinavia (Sweden, Norway, Denmark) and provide competent, flexible, and solution-oriented advice to our customers and prospects for all concerns related to both new business and ongoing contracts.
  • You will create, calculate, and negotiate customer offers in the locomotive leasing area.
  • You will actively acquire new customers and strategically develop existing accounts to promote sustainable business growth.
  • You will manage leasing and maintenance contracts for locomotives throughout their entire lifecycle – from the pre-contract phase through implementation to return and post-processing.
  • You will develop, negotiate, and manage customer and framework contracts, ensuring commercial success and contractual compliance.
  • You will ensure high customer satisfaction and coordinate all customer support issues.
  • You will support complex requests for proposals (RFPs) and coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth offer and contract processing.
  • You will manage contract adjustments, create offers for additional services, control billing issues, and resolve contractual and payment-related questions.
  • You will analyze market trends and competition, develop business cases, and price strategies.
  • You will organize and monitor operational issues such as deliveries, returns, replacement vehicles, logistics, and training, handle complaints and technical disputes, and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • You will define, track, and implement improvement measures to continuously increase service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Your Profile
  • You have a completed degree in a commercial, technical, or comparable field.
  • You have several years of experience in sales, contract management, or a comparable commercial-technical role, ideally in the rail or heavy industry.
  • You have a good understanding of rail technology and B2B contract structures in an international environment.
  • You have experience in commercial negotiations and ideally in contract management.
  • You combine strong communication skills with a strong commercial understanding and always think oriented towards business success.
  • You are customer- and service-oriented, and negotiation-savvy.
  • You work independently, solution-oriented, and always keep priorities in sight.
  • You enjoy working in cross-functional and international teams.
  • You have strong English and Swedish language skills, other Scandinavian languages are a plus.
  • Your team capability, adaptability, and pronounced customer orientation complete your profile.
