Responsible for managing and overseeing employee benefits programs, ensuring that they meet the needs of both the organization and its employees. This role involves working closely with clients and producers to design, implement, and manage benefit plans,providing expert advice, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Additional responsibilities include support for the sales & service teams using a variety of skills and knowledge of the insurance market, products, and competition. Provides a source of insuranceexpertiseand strategic analysis to clients and prospects.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients to include developing andmaintainingstrong relationships by understanding their needs and goals. Address and resolve client inquiries, issues, and concern sin a timely manner.
- Coordinate and manage the marketing process for all clients in assigned book of business by preparing customer renewals and new business strategies, including proposals and presentations while ensuring agreements withcustomerrequests and requirements.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs by monitoring and managing the enrollment, eligibility, and service requests.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers and benefits providers to ensure smooth implementation and operation of benefit plans.
- Conduct market research and analysis to recommend competitive benefits offerings.
Assistin the design and customization of employee benefits packages to align with organizational goals and employee needs. - Generate reports onbenefitsusage, trends, and costs to provide insights for decision-making when data is available.
Analyze data to assess the effectiveness of benefits programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure that all employee benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in benefits-related laws and regulations and adjust programs accordingly. This may include managing benefit audits and reporting requirements.
- Manage relationships withbenefitsvendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms for the organization.
- Florida Life & Health Insurance license (2-15) within
30 daysof hire.
- Minimum of high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 3+ years of experience in account management, client services, orrelatedfield.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite and Excel.
- Organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability tomaintaina high levelof confidentiality.
- Travel may be required.
- Associate’sor Bachelor’s in a business or financial related discipline or experience in lieu of degree.
- Professional designation.
- Minimum typing speed of 40 to 50 words per minute.
- Agency Management System knowledge.
