  • Provide strategic guidance to North American agencies, Regional Sales Directors, Managers, and stakeholders on conducting business in accordance with laws, industry codes, and Arthrex policies
  • Lead all aspects of the North America agency field compliance program
  • Manage compliance program processes and projects throughout North America
  • Develop and implement agency field compliance programs and Arthrex internal compliance policies
  • Develop and deliver internal and agency-specific compliance training
  • Implement and advise on compliance controls across the business and at agency level
  • Conduct risk assessments and assist with compliance investigations
  • Design and implement pragmatic controls to manage compliance risk
  • Draft, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and guidance documents
  • Support system implementation, best-practice sharing, and development of responsible-business tools
  • Provide regulatory, trade-association, policy, and procedure guidance to stakeholders and external agencies
  • Identify compliance gaps and improvement areas with business stakeholders
  • Contribute to the global investigations program
  • Develop compliance training materials and support audience identification and completion tracking
  • Support auditing, monitoring, remediation, and other Compliance department activities
  • Build stakeholder buy-in for compliance initiatives
  • Lead assigned Compliance department projects and initiatives
  • Ensure compliance within the functional area and support organizational compliance objectives
  • Travel up to 20% may be required
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 7 years in Legal, Compliance, Risk, or Internal Audit
  • In-depth understanding of U.S. healthcare compliance laws and regulations, including FCA, AKS, Stark Law, and FCPA
  • Knowledge of industry codes such as Adva Med
  • Knowledge of business processes, internal controls, and compliance frameworks
  • Familiarity with compliance program development and implementation
  • Familiarity with risk assessment, auditing, and monitoring practices
  • Familiarity with global and regional compliance operations
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory interpretation
  • Knowledge of agency field compliance programs and external stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to apply strategic thinking and risk-based considerations to factual analysis
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and limited guidance
  • Ability to understand complex business environments and compliance risks
  • Ability to lead the North America field compliance program with autonomy
  • Ability to provide strategic guidance and exercise independent judgment in policy development, investigations, and risk mitigation
  • Ability to influence without authority in a matrixed organization
  • Ability to manage sensitive compliance matters and drive initiatives across functions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Experience with MS Project, Visio, and Teams
  • Intermediate or better proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Comfortable working in high-growth, dynamic environments
  • J.D., advanced degree, or professional certification such as CCEP, CPA, or CIA strongly preferred
  • Healthcare, life sciences, or biotech industry experience preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Demonstrates expertise in U.S. healthcare compliance laws and regulations, including FCA, AKS, Stark Law, and FCPA, while leading compliance programs and initiatives across North America. Proficient in developing compliance training materials and conducting risk assessments to ensure adherence to industry codes and internal policies.
