• The Safety Manager works under the direction of the DeAngelis Diamond Director of Health and Safety.
• Collaborates heavily with the Director of Field Operations to launch and execute successful projects.
• Conducts regular documented safety inspections noting positive safety items and any infractions.
• Works with onsite Superintendents to provide guidance and correct any safety infractions.
• Trains and monitors onsite DeAngelis Diamond employees to focus on being leaders and ensuring a safe workplace.
• Conducts monthly trainings with the onsite team.
• Upholds company safety policies on assigned projects.
• Helps employees and the project workforce think proactively.
• Maintains a team‑oriented approach while being a leader on project sites that fosters a healthy safety culture.
• Serves as a positive safety role model for others.
• Limited travel may be required; occasional projects in other Florida divisions.

• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, Box, Docu Sign, Textura, and Bluebeam.
• Passion for learning and applying new technologies, concepts, and innovative solutions.
• 5+ years experience as a construction safety manager or have progressed through DD’s career path to this role.
• Minimum OSHA 30‑Hour Construction Training; OSHA 500/510 desired.
• Ability to prepare and present continuous improvement PowerPoint training sessions to the DeAngelis Diamond team.
• Strong personal integrity and highest ethical standards.
