Roers Companies is seeking an energetic, dedicated Construction Superintendent who will travel to, or relocate to, either the Naples, FL area or Asheville, NC. Must have strong experience on large commercial and multi‑family projects and be able to "hit the ground running". This is an excellent growth opportunity.

- Lead onsite teams and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor all onsite construction activities to ensure timely, efficient completion.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to coordinate project schedules and sequencing.
- Forecast required resources—manpower, equipment, and materials—while respecting budgetary constraints.
- Prepare detailed progress reports for internal stakeholders and third‑party authorities.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
- Verify compliance with local, state, and national building codes and regulations.
- Use scheduling software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression.
- Coordinate subcontractors, perform quality control and safety checks, and provide on‑site direction.
- Adjust to changes in onsite operations to meet construction deadlines.
- Maintain a daily log of job‑site operations, reporting to management as necessary.
- Provide value‑engineering options to achieve efficiencies and cost savings.
- Maintain good relations with city officials, owners, personnel, subcontracted trades, and suppliers.
- Assist in site preparation for leasing and marketing teams to enable timely delivery of projects to future tenants.
- 5+ years of onsite supervision experience in multifamily residential new‑building construction.
- BS degree in Construction Management or related field; alternatively, high school diploma or GED with 5‑10 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of current building codes, ADA laws, and multifamily construction methods.
- Experience with site construction, precast, wood framing, MEP trades, and interior finishes.
- Understanding of alternative building methods and value engineering.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Procore.
- Ability to work independently, leading a small team through the entire construction lifecycle.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings.
- Strong organization and forecasting skills for upcoming scopes of work.
- Flexibility to adjust work schedule according to staffing and project needs.
- Entrepreneurial ownership mindset, integrity, teamwork, and self‑motivation.
- Physical ability to walk and inspect property, including up to 7 flights of stairs.
- Professional appearance and presentation.
The Construction Superintendent will work primarily onsite at project locations, exposing them to current weather and site conditions. They will also attend company meetings and gatherings at corporate offices as needed.
