Superintendent, Construction

The Axel Group is seeking a Superintendent for our client's team. This role involves overseeing residential construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality homes are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will maintain excellent safety, quality, and cleanliness standards throughout the project lifecycle.

• Manage daily operations on the construction site and coordinate with subcontractors
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, OSHA standards, and quality expectations
• Monitor project schedules, inspections, and overall progress
• Maintain safety protocols, site cleanliness, and organization
• Review plans and shop drawings, proactively identifying potential issues
• Track punch lists and ensure all project documentation is completed accurately
• Communicate regularly with project managers and internal teams
• Foster strong relationships with subcontractors, inspectors, and clients

• At least 5 years of residential construction experience, with a preference for homebuilding
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, trades, and scheduling
• Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore or similar) is preferred
• OSHA certification is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to walk job sites, including roofs; lift and carry up to 25 lbs

Salary ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, based on experience.
