Assistant Graphic Designer & Photographer

The Marissa Collections Assistant Graphic Designer & Photographer provides creative and technical support to the eCommerce, Marketing, and Events teams by assisting in the production of digital content, product photography, and branded collateral across all platforms.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in graphic design and photography, a collaborative spirit, and is eager to grow within a dynamic luxury retail environment. This role requires a keen understanding of how to use digital tools to photograph products, balance typography, color, and layout, and create visually compelling imagery that aligns with Marissa Collections’ elevated brand identity.

As an Assistant Graphic Designer & Photographer at Marissa Collections, you will:

• Photograph products to support site operations and product presentation
• Create graphics for web landing pages, banners, templates, and newsletters
• Interpret project requirements and creative direction with clarity and precision
• Ensure all final graphics and layouts are visually compelling and on-brand
• Maintain quality, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines across all projects
• Resize and edit online images and digital collateral
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully launch projects
• Assist with post-production of product photography
• Maintain and update the project management system with transparency and accuracy
• Communicate effectively across multiple internal tools to keep teams aligned
• Collaborate with teams to identify and correct any visual or content inaccuracies

• Minimum 1 year of graphic design experience, preferably with a luxury brand
• Previous experience in product photography, e-commerce, marketing, or a relevant fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft 365, and Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design
• Demonstrated positive attitude, flexibility, and passion for continuous learning and improvement
• Ability to work independently with strong self-motivation and reliability
• Dynamic team player with strong problem-solving and time management skills
• Strong follow-through to ensure all tasks are fully completed
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. as needed for product handling, studio setup, or event preparation
• Ability to stand, walk, or move around for extended periods during events or photo shoots
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional nights and weekends when needed
