Are you passionate about storytelling, design, and digital trends? Summerfields Fine Furnishings is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media / Marketing Intern to help us share our brand story across Instagram, Facebook, email, and beyond. This is a hands‑on opportunity to blend content creation with marketing strategy—capturing the beauty of our store vignettes, curating behind‑the‑scenes moments, and connecting with our community both online and in‑store.

If you’re enthusiastic, organized, and eager to gain real‑world experience in branding and marketing, this role is a chance to build your skills while working with a team that values creativity, style, and fresh ideas.

Location: Hybrid (in-store + remote)

Hours: Flexible, part‑time

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and schedule engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, and email newsletters
  • Capture photo and video content that highlights store vignettes, product features, and behind‑the‑scenes moments
  • Assist with graphics, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
  • Support planning and coverage for in‑store events
  • Analyze engagement and offer ideas for growth
Qualifications
  • Enthusiastic about branding, marketing, and visual storytelling
  • Proficient in Canva, Instagram Reels, and basic editing apps
  • Eye for aesthetics and on‑brand content creation
  • Must be organized, creative, and self‑motivated
Interior Designer

Location: Office‑based with in‑home consultations as needed

Hours: Part‑time to full‑time, depending on project load

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute full‑service interior design projects
  • Develop concepts, space plans, and color palettes tailored to each client
  • Source furnishings, finishes, fabrics, and accessories
  • Oversee project timelines, vendor relationships, and installations
  • Collaborate with our retail team to source one‑of‑a‑kind pieces from our store
Qualifications
  • Degree or certificate in Interior Design or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of residential design experience
  • Strong eye for style and detail, with a blend of classic and contemporary sensibilities
  • Proficient in design software (Sketch Up, AutoCAD, or similar)
  • Professional, personable, and client‑focused
