YourKey Responsibilities
- Apply landscape design principles including site analysis, theming, schematic design, and design development.
- Assist in preparing project documentation across all design phases (e.g., graphics, grading, paving, structures, lighting, planting, irrigation, and layout).
- Support the creative process through sketches, models, diagrams, and other visual formats.
- Learn and contribute to planting design through concept development and planning.
- Prepare and coordinate technical drawings and documentation.
- Participate in construction administration, including site visits, meetings, and drawing revisions.
- Conduct due diligence and research to support project development.
- Develop technical and software skills for producing design exhibits and working drawings.
- Perform related duties within the scope of Landscape Architecture as assigned.
- Foundational experience with relevant drafting/design software, such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign). Experience with LandFX, Sketch Up, Revit, Lumion, or Rhino would be considered an asset.
- Ability to engage and work within a creative and multi-discipline design practice with an interest in holistic design, systems thinking, construction, materials, sustainability, and technical design detailing.
